Sir Alex Ferguson looks happy to see his squad in all-white for the Champions League finals against Barcelona as United are designated an away team status.
United’s first strip is Red and second is Blue but they chose for the third all-white as they beat the Catalans in European Cup Winner’ Cup final in 1991 in the same Jersey.
However, Balagurana’s have beaten their arc-rivals Real Madrid 6-2 in the El Clasico last month, who also wears all-white as their first strip, but Ferguson is unfazed with that and jokingly said, ” That was not a defeat, that was an annihilation.”
“We had to change our strip and out first two strips clashed, but we are very happy to be wearing white–very happy–and we are better than Madrid,” he joked.
But Fergie seemed to forget that this season Barca have also routed Bayern Munich when they traveled Nou Camp in the first-leg quarter-finals- should take a cue from this..Barca loves all white–
